Asansol Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama is a spiritual and service-oriented centre of the Ramakrishna Mission located in Kanyapur, Asansol, West Bengal. The centre is rooted in the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna and the ideals carried forward by Swami Vivekananda. The ashrama shrine offers daily worship to Sri Ramakrishna, while evening arati includes devotional singing, bhajans, and participation by monks and devotees. Special spiritual programmes are organized on important festival days and on the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda. The present centre was established at its current premises in 1997 after the institution had begun its work in Asansol in 1926. A new Ramakrishna temple at the ashrama was consecrated on 20 January 2019. Besides its religious activities, the ashrama provides educational, vocational, medical, welfare, and community services, making it an important spiritual and social service centre in Asansol.
