Asansol Ramkrishna Mission New Temple is a prominent spiritual temple located within the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama at Kanyapur, Asansol, West Bengal. The temple is part of the Ramakrishna Mission tradition founded on the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna and carried forward by Swami Vivekananda. The New Ramakrishna Temple was inaugurated and consecrated on 20 January 2019 by Most Revered Srimat Swami Smaranandaji Maharaj, then President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math. The temple is dedicated primarily to Sri Ramakrishna, while the wider spiritual tradition also reveres Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda. Daily worship is performed at the Ashrama shrine, and evening arati is accompanied by devotional singing and bhajans. Special spiritual programmes are organized during festivals and on the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother and Swami Vivekananda. The temple provides a peaceful environment for prayer, meditation and spiritual activities.
