Chandisthan Mandir, also known as Chandika Sthan, is a revered Hindu temple located in Basudevpur, Munger, Bihar. It is traditionally regarded as one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and is an important center of Shakti worship in the region. According to Hindu tradition, it is believed that the left eye of Goddess Sati fell at this sacred place, making it a significant pilgrimage site for devotees of Maa Shakti. The temple is dedicated primarily to Maa Chandika, a powerful form of Goddess Durga. The main shrine is associated with a sacred cave-like sanctum, adding to the spiritual character of the temple. The temple complex also has shrines dedicated to deities such as Kali, Durga, Hanuman and Kal Bhairava. Navratri is one of the major festivals celebrated here, when devotees gather for special prayers and worship. The temple is situated near the northeastern side of Munger and is approximately two kilometres from the town.
