Janaki Janmabhoomi Temple (Sitamarhi)

According to Hindu belief, King Janaka found Mata Sita here while ploughing the land, where the sacred Sita Kund is located. This temple is deeply connected with the Ramayana and is considered one of the most sacred Janaki pilgrimage sites. Major festivals celebrated here include Sita Navami, Ram Navami, and Vivah Panchami. The Bihar government is also developing it into a major pilgrimage center.
