Madan Mohan Temple, also known as Madan Mohan Bari, is a historic Hindu temple located in the heart of Cooch Behar, West Bengal. The temple is dedicated primarily to Lord Madan Mohan, a form of Lord Krishna and the royal deity of the Koch dynasty. Maharaja Nripendra Narayan constructed the present temple between 1885 and 1889. The temple complex also houses shrines dedicated to Goddess Kali, Goddess Tara, and Goddess Bhavani. Its architecture reflects the traditional temple style of Bengal and the temple is an important part of Cooch Behar's royal and religious heritage. The temple is especially associated with the traditional Ras Yatra and Ras Mela, which attract devotees and visitors from different parts of the region. Rath Yatra is another important religious celebration associated with Lord Madan Mohan.
