Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple (Jaipur)

The temple was established in 1761 by Seth Jai Ram Paliwal. According to legend, the idol of Lord Ganesha was brought from Udaipur, and the temple was built at the place where the bullock cart carrying the idol stopped. It is considered highly auspicious in Jaipur, and many families offer the first wedding invitation here before marriage ceremonies. Special celebrations take place during Ganesh Chaturthi and every Wednesday.

The temple is located at the foot of the Moti Dungri hill and is inspired by a Scottish castle-style palace situated above it. The temple has three grand entrance gates and intricate carvings.
