Sri Vidya Saraswathi Shani Temples Wargal is a prominent Hindu pilgrimage centre situated on a hillock in Wargal, Siddipet District, Telangana. The main temple is dedicated to Goddess Sri Vidya Saraswathi, the goddess of knowledge, wisdom, education and learning. The temple is particularly renowned for Aksharabhyasam, a traditional ceremony in which children begin their educational journey with the blessings of Goddess Saraswathi. The foundation stone of the temple was laid in 1989, and the temple was consecrated in 1992. The temple complex also contains shrines dedicated to Lord Shani, Lord Shiva and Sri Lakshmi Ganapathi, along with other associated temples. A Veda Pathashala functions within the temple premises, supporting traditional Vedic learning. Devotees are also provided free meals through Nitya Annadanam. Major celebrations include Vasantha Panchami, Navaratri and Shani Trayodashi. Moola Nakshatram is considered especially significant for worship of Goddess Saraswathi.
