About
Parashuram Ji is one of the most powerful and respected avatars of Lord Vishnu in Hinduism. He is known as the sixth avatar of Vishnu and was born to Sage Jamadagni and Mata Renuka. According to Hindu scriptures, Parashuram Ji appeared on Earth to destroy evil and arrogant rulers who misused their power and oppressed people. He is depicted carrying a divine axe called “Parashu,” gifted by Lord Shiva, which symbolizes strength and justice. Parashuram Ji was a great warrior, sage, and devotee of dharma. Despite his warrior nature, he lived a life of penance, discipline, and spiritual devotion. Parashuram Jayanti is celebrated on Akshaya Tritiya with prayers, charity, and Vishnu worship. He is also regarded as one of the Chiranjeevis, meaning immortal beings who continue to exist on Earth. Devotees worship Parashuram Ji for courage, victory over enemies, wisdom, protection, and spiritual strength. His life teaches the importance of righteousness, discipline, respect for parents, and standing against injustice. He remains an inspiring figure of bravery, devotion, and divine justice in Hindu tradition.
